ADBIS 2026 will take place at the Hôtel Dupanloup in the heart of downtown Orléans.

Orléans, easily reached from Paris, is a historic city traversed by the Loire, the longest river in France. The city centre has notable architecture and museums, including Sainte-Croix Cathedral and places connected to Joan of Arc. Along the riverbanks you can enjoy walks, cycling, or boat trips. The Centre-Val de Loire region is home to the famous Château de Chambord, a symbol of the French Renaissance and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Getting to Orléans by Plane

Orléans does not have an international airport, but several nearby airports make it easy to each the city:

  • Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG): ~160 km (approx. 1h45–2h by car). From CDG you can reach Paris Austerlitz station by RER/shuttle, then take a train to Orléans.
  • Paris-Orly (ORY): ~120 km (approx. 1h15 by car). From Orly you can take Metro Line 14 to Gare de Lyon, then continue to Orléans by train.
  • Tours Val de Loire (TUF): ~115 km (approx. 1h20 by car). Smaller airport with some European routes.

From those airports you can reach Orléans by train (via Paris or Tours), long-distance bus, or rental car.

Getting to Orléans by Train

Orléans is easy to reach by train. Most routes pass through Paris unless you come from the south-west. Trains run between Paris Austerlitz and Orléans frequently.
